Anatomy of a $594 Faceless Video: 58.8K Views, 7.7K Watch Hours, 2.4K Subscribers

One video on a channel that was two months old. 58.8K views, 7.7K watch hours, +2.4K subscribers and $594.85 in estimated revenue. Here is what went into it.

## The topic A question-led topic targeting US men 35-54 in the self-improvement niche. The title promised a specific, slightly uncomfortable insight; the thumbnail showed a single expressive face and four words.

## The runtime decision The video runs 21 minutes. That is deliberate: at 20+ minutes you can place a mid-roll every 3-4 minutes without hurting retention, and the US audience in this niche binge-watches. Watch time per view came out above 7 minutes.

## The script structure - 0:00-0:45 - the hook restates the title as a question and promises the payoff at the end. - Every 90 seconds - a mini-payoff (a sign, a story, a stat) so there is always a reason to stay. - Last 2 minutes - the strongest point, then a direct pitch to the next video.

## Traffic sources Browse features and Suggested videos split exactly 50/50. That balance is what you want: Browse means YouTube trusts the channel enough to put you on the home feed; Suggested means the video rides alongside bigger channels in the niche.

## What it took - 1 research session (competitor videos + comments mining) - 1 script draft, 1 revision - AI voice-over, edited with stock and motion graphics - 3 thumbnail variants, tested in the first 48 hours

The same system produced the channel's other earners: $119 (24K views) and $70 (7.8K views). See the full case study.
